OurHistory LiveWork&Play was established in 1995 by Sharyn McCullum (traveller and travel writer). It came about after she went on a working holiday and found herself in another country with no friends, family, accommodation or work and wondered what to do next. After spending four years travelling the world she returned to Australia and established the company to provide past, present and future travellers with up-to-date, comprehensive and relevant working holiday and gap year information. Our Products

LiveWork&Play produces a number of working holiday and gap year guides. Guides are published in both printed and electronic formats. Our range is available online at our bookshop.

Our website www.liveworkplay.com was established in 1999 and provides updated working holiday visa information, general travel information and e-commerce facilities for those wishing to purchase our products.

Our free e-travelzine LiveWork&Play Traveller is transmitted to thousands of visitors who have registered to receive it.

Our Team

The team consists of IT specialists, authors, editors and photographers all dedicated to bringing working holiday and gap year information to the thousands of individuals who head overseas to live, work and play in the country or countries of their choice.

Our future

LiveWork&Play plans to expand its highly successful range of working holiday and gap year guides before introducing other travel books on accommodation, general travel and travel literature. A travel agency is also on the horizon.
